As a father of seven children, I have always enjoyed the relationships developed in family dentistry. Since I have been doing dentistry in Las Vegas since 1973, I have been of service to three generations in many families.
Even though I enjoy the variety that comes with family dentistry, I feel that I have a special gift with Cosmetic dentistry. A smile is not just teeth...it is part of a face, part of a person, part of a personality. If you cover your mouth when you laugh or smile, are you being all that you can be?
A good painting requires good composition; so does a smile. Because of my artistic background, I can best determine the size and shape for each patient's teeth. A great smile can overcome other facial defects. Julia Roberts is a good example.
They have done a study that shows that people look at a person's face first 60% of the time. The same study showed that the smile was the most dominant feature in determining attractiveness.
How you look definitely has an effect on your self esteem, and your self esteem has an effect on how you are treated and how you treat other people.
I have an advantage over the majority of other dentists in that I get to diagnose, evaluate, (with your desires included) treat and create the final result without having to try to communicate the desired result to a lab technician. I am the only one involved from start to finish... an artist creating your masterpiece of a smile.
